OASIS LIVE 2025:
A TOUR OF BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS
The year 2025 saw through one of the greatest rock and roll reunions of all time with the oasis live ’25 tour.
The tour commenced on July 4, 2025, at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom, and wrapped at Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo, Brazil, on November 23.
The band left nearly no stone unturned on their grand global voyage hosting their stadium tour for fans around the world in:
Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America.
The tour was announced on August 27, 2024, a mere two days prior to the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Definitely Maybe.
The slated Cardiff kickoff show would mark the first time the Gallagher Brothers & Co. had shared a stage together since their infamous split in 2009.
After the announcement, there was a great sense of urgency that rose to an all-time high across the planet and the odds of scoring a ticket shrank to abysmal proportions.
On the eve of the ticket sale, our fearless leader, Caroline Green, set her alarm to 1:45am Mountain Standard Time, August 31, 2024, with Champagne Supernova as the ringtone, for an extra dose of manifestation.
Upon awakening, Green was on the phone with her sister, who said the Ticketmaster website had crashed on her end, leaving her unable load the site.
Turns out there were thousands of people who experienced a similar site crash.
There are also reports that some tickets were bought by resellers and relisted for prices that rose to range of £8,000 (approx. $14,765.42 CDN at the time this was written).
Green said their tickets rang in at £553.15 (approx. $1,020.94 CAD) for 2 x Premium Seat Package tickets and 2 x Oasis Live Souvenir tickets (Section 124; Row 20; Seats 55 & 56).
As for strategy, Green said she thinks that having left Ticketmaster open on the Oasis page on her laptop the night before, and then hitting the “refresh” button at exactly 2am, did the trick – but really, who knows.
“I’m the 1%,” said Green
boasting a subtle brag.
Green entered the “Waiting Room” at under 1-minute wait time,
and then at 3,264th
“In the Queue”.
“I had the page open already,” Green said.
“But, I also found an
adder stone / hag stone the day before, so perhaps luck was simply on my side”
After a swift stroke of fortune in the draw that is Ticketmaster, the Green girls had secured the impossible opportunity to travel across the pond to witness Night 1 at Wembley Stadium in London, England, United Kingdom.
Two Canadian sisters eagerly
en route to witness two brothers – whose quintessential sound was a staple in their mutual youths in the 90s and 2000s – reunite for the first time in 16 years.

ACT 1
CAST
Cast is a British band from Liverpool, England, formed in 1992.
the band supported oasis for the uk and irish legs of oasis live ’25.
When tasked with the decision of who would open for Oasis during the UK and irish sections of oasis live ’25, Cast was an easy choice.
Noel Gallagher has been said to use, “as cosmic as the day is long,” as a descriptor for lead singer, John Power.
The history of the two bands runs rather deep; Cast having played with Oasis several times throughout the 1990s, including their iconic Knebworth 1996 shows.
Cast played big, loud, and triumphant on stage on July 25, 2025, in a notable full-circle moment for the band.
ACT 2
RICHARD ASHCROFT
A britpop and rock + roll icon in his own right, Richard Ashcroft was most fittingly chosen as the second opener in the UK + Irish legs of the Oasis Live 2025 tour.
Ashcroft began rubbing shoulders with the Gallagher brothers in the 1990s Manchester music scene, when his band, The Verve, experienced popularity during the same momentous time.
The Ashcroft/Gallagher bond grew deep following several occasions when the bands played, toured, and collaborated together in the 90s.
Noel Gallagher dedicated,
‘Cast No Shadow,’
to Ashcroft
on the 1995 Oasis album,
(What’s the Story) Morning Glory,
where the liner notes read:
“To the genius of
Richard Ashcroft”
To experience Ashcroft’s set on July 25, 2025 – Night 1 at Wembley Stadium – was like witnessing a collective joy and a oneness with every fan, band, or otherwise in Wembley that evening.
THE MAIN EVENT
OASIS
Liam Gallagher
might describe it as,
“Stunning,”
“God-like,”
“Celestial,”
OR,
“Biblical.”
We think he’s right.
When Ashcroft wrapped,
there was a brief break.
The calm before the storm.
Admittedly,
a beer break.
A period of time in which you didn’t dare attempt to use the bathroom because the human lineup stretched as far as the eye could see, almost certainly across all of Wembley Stadium, and then some.
The concourse had an air of inebriation, and combined with the hot and humid atmosphere,
the drunks seemed drunker.
“Someone actually fainted in the lineup next to us getting beer between Ashcroft and Oasis.
The guy collapsed,
his girlfriend freaked out,
we called the medics,
the dude suddenly came to,
he got up,
and walked off.
I think perhaps
he was packing more
than he’d like
to have discovered,”
said Green.
Back at the seats, there was a few minutes to spare to bask in the buzz of the stadium before the thunderous kick of the snare from, ‘F****** in the Bushes,’ cut through the energetic air with a resounding vibration that electrified every living thing in that stadium.
Simultaneously in sync with the sound, the giant screens left, right, and centre stage commenced a flickering and fleeting multimedia masterpiece like a flash of the last 16 years before the eyes of everyone.
Towards the end of the 3:19 song…
Enter: Gallagher brothers.
Hand-in-hand,
as they did each walk-out every show of the tour.
THE GUNS HAD INDEED FALLEN SILENT.
THE GREAT WAIT WAS OVER.
The show of a lifetime began at precisely 8:15pm, as planned – ever-so punctual, these rockstars.
